Relationship Manager - Asset Management 

Location: Dublin: 3 days/ week on site
Job Type: Contract 

We are partnering with a highly respected global financial institution with a long-standing heritage and a strong international presence. This organisation is recognised for delivering best-in-class asset servicing and asset management solutions to institutional and private clients worldwide.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team environment, supporting depositary/trustee operations in line with corporate governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and fund documentation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in oversight activities, ensuring funds operate within regulatory and investment guidelines while delivering accurate reporting and supporting business growth within the depositary function.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Compliance Monitoring

  • Complete investment and borrowing limit checks

  • Perform investment restriction and leverage reviews

  • Monitor and review investment manager confirmations (including VaR)

  • Maintain and update regulatory breach registers

  • Respond promptly to client and internal queries

Data Management & MI Reporting

  • Support the production of management information (MI) and risk reporting

  • Assist with fund risk assessment reporting and ongoing monitoring

Client, Board & Regulatory Reporting

  • Assist in preparing quarterly board and monthly client reports

  • Deliver reporting within agreed service level deadlines

  • Support internal risk reporting requirements

  • Assist with regulatory reporting submissions (including Central Bank requirements)

  • Issue standard regulatory correspondence

  • Contribute to audit confirmations and schedules of holdings

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of departmental procedures

  • Escalate issues to management in a timely and effective manner

  • Support broader depositary operational activities

Skills & Experience

  • Strong ability to work effectively within a multi-team environment

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative

  • Solid understanding of funds, including exposure to complex structures

  • Knowledge of depositary/trustee regulations, particularly within the Irish market

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Experience with fund accounting or transfer agency systems is advantageous
