AML/KYC Analyst, Quality Check – Luxembourg



KYC/AML Analyst needed to work with an international investment and treasury services bank in Luxembourg. This 6-month extendable contract will be hybrid working on a 3 days office and 2 days from home split.

Responsibilities:


- Final check/approval of client files at the onboarding or upsell stage: sign off AML risk assessment, KYC documentation, client data and risk scoring.
- Advisory and guidance to junior team members on AML CDD procedures and requirements.
- Sound knowledge of European AML/KYC regulatory requirements.
- Report of High-risk records to Management and AML Compliance as per applicable procedures.
- Track and reporting of daily activity and progress of assigned files and tasks. Contributing to QC team report & Management Information. Promptly raise of issues and proposed solutions.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail. Exercises good judgment, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and partners.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage competing priorities, escalate as required, and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Contribution to reporting and Management Information.


Must-Have Skills:


- Sound knowledge of European AML/KYC regulatory requirements such as requirements in Luxembourg, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy or France.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other EU languages such as French, German and Italian would be an asset
- Ability to assess, impact, influence and take initiative.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail. Exercises good judgment, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and partners.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage competing priorities, escalate as required, and adhere to established policies and procedures.
