Business Analyst, EU Investment Policies & Insurance

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a project based in Luxembourg on a subcontracting basis, supporting a confidential end client within the insurance and investment domain.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with solid business analysis experience and strong knowledge of European investment policies, ideally combined with exposure to the insurance sector in Luxembourg, France or Belgium.

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will work with business and project stakeholders to analyse requirements, support functional discussions, document business needs, and contribute to the delivery of investment-related initiatives within an insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements
• Work with business stakeholders to understand investment policy requirements and regulatory expectations
• Support the definition of functional specifications and process documentation
• Liaise between business teams, project teams and technical stakeholders
• Contribute to workshops, impact assessments and solution design discussions
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable project deliverables
• Support testing, validation and implementation phases where required

Required Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong knowledge of EU investment policies
• Good understanding of the insurance sector
• Previous experience in Luxembourg, France or Belgium would be highly valuable
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills
• Fluent English required
• French would be a strong advantage

Mission Details

• Location: Luxembourg
• Contract type: Subcontracting
• Start date: Ideally mid-June, mandatory start before end of June
• Duration: 6 months, renewable once for an additional 3 months
• Daily rate: Up to €600/day maximum
• End client: Confidential
