Job Opportunity: Business Analyst – SWIFT
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst – SWIFT to support key initiatives within the Investment Funds Services domain. This role is ideal for someone who excels in analysis, testing, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-moving, change-driven environment.
Role Overview
As a Business Analyst specialising in SWIFT, you will analyse existing services, design future features, and support major transformation initiatives including the CBPR+ MX transition. You will work across business and technology teams to ensure requirements, testing, and delivery activities are executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and assess the impact of changes across the Investment Funds Services IT landscape.
- Deliver business and functional analysis for two ongoing projects, covering both current-state review and future-state design.
- Identify, gather, and document clear business and functional requirements.
- Present findings and proposed solutions to internal business and IT stakeholders.
- Design and develop test cases from functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements.
- Support functional and regression testing activities.
- Work closely with development teams to analyse, investigate, and resolve issues.
- Create, enhance, and maintain regression test suites.
Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business and functional analysis.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering and modelling tools.
- Strong understanding of test lifecycles with hands-on test execution experience.
- Solid business knowledge of fund distribution processes.
- Strong business and functional knowledge of SWIFT standards and the CBPR+ MX transition.
- Ability to manage tight timelines and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Fluency in English; French or German is an asset.
Optional Skills
- UML knowledge.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Jira Dashboards.
- Business Analyst certification (e.g., IIBA, BCS).
- Test certification (e.g., ISTQB).
