Senior Data Engineer - Stockholm City Central - Salary Negotiable based on experience

Become a central part of the Data Engineering team in one of Sweden's fastest growing FinTech business'

A FinTech company based in the city centre are looking for an important addition to their team in a Data Engineer to act as a central component for the development and optimisation of their data framework.

As the business have reached the point where their data analytics and real-time decision making can move to the next level, you will work alongside the Chief Data Scientist and CTO to make this happen.

What are we looking for?

You must be a highly skilled data engineer who enjoys driving forward strategy and solutions with a data-driven approach. You must be able to work independently and have a pragmatic approach to your work.

Furthermore, the following experience is necessary for this position:

- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position.

- A relevant degree which would ideally be STEM (Science, Technology, - Engineering or Mathematics).

- Experience in cloud computing with platforms such as AWS, Azure & GCP.

- Exposure to multiple tools including Spark, Kafka, HDFS, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and other comparable tools.

- Experience of real-time processing


In a business who are constantly challenging traditional banking methods by offering a data driven financial product - you will help them to create a new data framework by:

- Developing and maintaining data pipelines for real-time decisioning

- Exploring and making recommendations on modern technologies to improve their stack.
