Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

•Provide timely, periodic and insightful Revenue, Pricing and Profitability reporting for products and clients across ISB,
•Leverage financial, product and client information periodically, and engage relevant teams (Coverage, Product, Operations, regional MDs) to set standard fees/rate cards and obtain Pricing Committee approval,
•Ensure pricing for new products/services proposed or any changes to the existing standard/target pricing methodologies, are confirmed for billability, and approved by Product, Regional MDs, Coverage & Operations, and the Pricing Committee of ISB , as required by the Pricing Approval Policy of ISB,
•Leverage knowledge, experience and expertise to be a valued, highly strategic partner and advisor at all levels of ISB
•Support the business through ongoing financial partnering, challenging the status quo and driving a pricing & profitability that delivers satisfactory long term returns on capital
•Lead and develop a team of ~5 analysts, building increased capability in business /technology analytics and process re-engineering

Skills and Experience

•Degree in finance, management or accounting (BAC +3/+5),
•5-10 + years’ experience in a Finance, financial planning & analysis, revenue, pricing, modeling
•Design and implementation of profitability models
•Proven ability to execute individually and indirectly through others
•Able to act independently and deal with demanding business parts (and exert authority and confidence in a relationship-friendly manner) while being unbiased
•Ability to clearly communicate to senior business leaders and aid them in steering a large international organization
•Solid level of English and French (written and oral), other languages are asset,
•Good knowledge of computer-based tools (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook),
•Attention to detail to ensure data integrity,
•Capacity to work under pressure and prioritize,
•Analytical and organizational skills,
•Proactive,

Nice-to-have

•Familiarity with asset servicing industry (custody, fund accounting, shareholder services/transfer agency, etc) would be preferred
•Solid knowledge of IFRS standards,
