Functional Analyst – Dealing & Digital

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to support the delivery of business and digital transformation initiatives across dealing and digital platforms. Acting as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams, you will analyse requirements, assess impacts, and translate business needs into clear functional specifications that support effective solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.

• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

• Support solution design, impact assessments and change initiatives.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, testers and project teams.

• Define and execute functional test scenarios and support UAT activities.

• Assist with issue resolution and ensure solutions meet business needs.

Required Experience

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Analysis or Functional Analysis.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working within project and change delivery environments.

Preferred Experience

• Financial Services, Fund Services, Asset Management or Securities Services experience.

• Knowledge of dealing, settlement, custody or investment operations.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
