Functional Analyst 

Functional Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to support projects across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process. The role will focus on translating business needs into system and functional requirements, analysing billing services, collaborating across Business and IT teams, and supporting testing and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into system requirements within agreed project deadlines and budgets, covering the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process.
• Analyse existing services and help design future features relating to billing systems.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams and business units on external revenue and billing processes.
• Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Present analysis findings clearly to both Business and IT stakeholders.
• Design, document, execute and validate test cases based on functional specifications, user stories and system requirements.
• Participate in functional and regression testing activities.
• Work closely with development teams to analyse, debug and resolve issues.

Required Experience & Skills

• Master's degree, or equivalent, in a computer-based discipline or business-related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in business and functional analysis within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial-services business context, products and processes relevant to billing and revenue operations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present complex topics in a clear and comprehensive way.
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and modelling tools such as UML.
• Knowledge of test lifecycles with hands-on experience in test execution.
• Ability to meet challenging project deadlines in a fast-moving, change-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desirable

• Knowledge of SAP and billing or finance processes.
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
• Experience using Jira dashboards.
• Business Analyst certification.
• Knowledge of German and/or French.
