GP4 Fund Accounting Application Specialist

Location: Luxembourg (On-site initially, then Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Contract: 9 Months
Rate: Up to €750 per day
Start Date: Early to Mid October

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced GP4 Fund Accounting Application Specialist to support a critical fund accounting platform responsible for NAV calculation and investment fund accounting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong GP4 Fund Accounting experience who enjoys working across both application support and disaster recovery, ensuring business-critical systems remain resilient and available.

You'll play a key role in managing the GP4 application, coordinating Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) activities, supporting business validation, and working closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure seamless recovery following data incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and support of the GP4 Fund Accounting application.
• Ensure high availability and performance of the platform.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Support teams to resolve application issues.
• Lead Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) activities during incidents.
• Restore applications and data to validated recovery points.
• Validate Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
• Perform reconciliation of missing or duplicate transactions.
• Work with business users to validate restored data.
• Support manual data recreation where required.
• Coordinate business sign-off before production processing resumes.
• Maintain recovery documentation and disaster recovery procedures.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the technical lead during recovery exercises and incidents.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience supporting GP4 Fund Accounting.
• Strong understanding of Fund Accounting and NAV calculation.
• Hands-on experience with Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR).
• Knowledge of backup, restore and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience working with application recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Strong data reconciliation experience.
• Ability to work with infrastructure, database and business teams.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience supporting investment fund platforms.
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing experience.
• Experience working in enterprise financial services environments.
• Knowledge of application dependencies and data validation processes.

Working Pattern
The successful contractor will work full-time onsite for the first three months to support onboarding and knowledge transfer. Following this period, the role will transition to three days per week onsite in Luxembourg.
