We are working with a reputable financial client based in the city centre of Zug, Switzerland seeking a Head of IT for their Infrastructure and security team.

Main Responsibilities


• Personnel and technical management of the IT team with a total of 4 employees
• Project management
• Administration and development of the Linux and Windows environments
• Operation and administration of the Exchange environment
• Engineering and operation of the virtualization environment (VMware & Citrix)
• Main responsibility for network engineering and troubleshooting
• Ensuring trouble-free and permanent operation of the IT infrastructure
Firewall and security engineering
• Trend scouting (focus on technology and security)
• Second level support/troubleshooting in case of technical failures
• Responsible for budgeting, controlling and compliance with SLAs
• Forming the interface with the authorities and third-party partners on all IT related issues
• Communication with external parties (suppliers, customers, etc.)
• Working closely with management and team leaders
• Backup for all other IT service functions

Required skills and experience


• Professional degree in IT
• 10+ years of professional and management experience, preferably in a similar position/environment
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, German would be a plus
• High security awareness
• Good analytical skills and fast comprehension
• High quality standards, conceptual understanding and eye for detail
• Entrepreneurial, innovative thinking and acting
• Team player with multicultural sensitivity
