Operational Resilience Manager

• 6-12months with possibility of extension
• Travel Telework: Hybrid (2times office/3days home per week), Brussels


I am working with a global leader in banking and financial services, with a strong presence in Belgium, seeking an Operational Resilience Manager to take the lead on a Digital Operational Resilience Act project.

Function description

• Contribute to analysis of end-to-end value chains, including identification of single points of failure and interdependencies, and determining risk tolerances
• In the framework of Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), you will collaborate closely with ICT and the business to define :
• The manual workaround solution in case of an IT disruption, and which data’s are needed
• The data’s needed and the back-up solutions existing or to be set up in order to recover from an IT disruption by formalizing the requirements and solutions and ensure the procedures are formalized at IT and Business level
• Collaborate to define a presentation deck to explain easily and clearly the topics to the top management
• Define metrics and indicators regarding :
• Knowledge of activities ; Critical process and BRTO
• Design BC System : Design BC solutions covering the scenarios
• Implement BC system : formalizing BC documents taking into account Essential Service Provider
• Assessment, maintenance and Continuous improvement
• Ensure training and awareness : launching E-learning to the new comers / get the VPN report / organize Notification exercise and communication
• Perform Risk analysis based on the scenarios to assess threats
• Support the DRP organization : by determining functional run book for the testing
• Contribute to the maintenance of regulatory compliant policies, standards, and models related to Operational Resilience
• Review the escalation process and communicate towards the company
• Prepare periodic reports and critical metrics

Other Skills Required:

Language requirements:
• Dutch: Intermediate

Education: Master’s degree or Training in Business Continuity or Crisis management
Certification: MBCI (preferable) - at least AMBCI
