Our client is a growing Luxembourg-based investment platform specialising in alternative investments. As part of its continued expansion, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Valuation Consultant to support its valuation governance framework and regulatory obligations.

• Fractional or part-time professionals

• Conducting Officers with available capacity

• Valuation specialists seeking an additional long-term mandate

• Experienced professionals transitioning between assignments

The assignment is expected to start in July 2026 and continue at least until the end of 2026, with a strong possibility of extension as the organisation continues to grow.

The Opportunity

Working directly alongside the Conducting Officer responsible for Valuation, you will act as a trusted advisor on valuation-related matters and contribute to the development of a robust valuation framework for alternative assets.

You will provide hands-on expertise, independent challenge and practical guidance on valuation methodologies, governance arrangements and regulatory expectations applicable in Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the valuation governance framework.

• Review and challenge valuation methodologies for alternative assets.

• Contribute to valuation reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.

• Assist with valuation documentation, procedures and governance requirements.

• Support regulatory obligations relating to valuation matters.

• Provide expert advice to senior management on valuation-related topics.

• Help ensure alignment with Luxembourg regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Your Profile

• At least 2 years of valuation experience gained within Luxembourg.

Previous experience within an AIFM, Management Company, Asset Manager, Fund Platform, Advisory Firm or similar environment.

• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies applicable to alternative assets.

• Good knowledge of Luxembourg valuation regulations and CSSF expectations.

• Exposure to Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Infrastructure or Venture Capital assets.

• Able to work independently with minimal onboarding and supervision.

• Fluent English is required.

• French, Italian or any additional language would be considered an advantage.

Why Consider This Assignment?

• Highly flexible commitment of only 1 to 2 days per month.

• Long-term visibility through at least 31st of December 2026.

• Direct collaboration with senior decision-makers.

• Opportunity to influence the development of a growing investment platform.

• High potential for an expanded scope of work as the business continues to grow.

If you are an experienced valuation professional looking for a flexible and meaningful long-term assignment within the Luxembourg investment industry, we would be delighted to discuss this opportunity confidentially.
