Research Consultant- Pipeline Generation, Business Development, Lead Generation - Well Established FinTech

London Hybrid/Remote Available, Competitive + Bonus & Benefits

This is a great opportunity to work in a varied and exciting position for a well established FinTech Software Vendor, working alongside experts in their field with a lot of space for growth and development within the role. The chance to be the first mover in some truly eye watering deals: working alongside and most importantly, learning from, some real seasoned professionals within the industry.

My client, an established FinTech Software Vendor is looking for a Presales/Sales Research Consultant with a passion (and preferably an understanding of) the buy-side financial services industry and a real drive for Sales to join their Business Development Team. This person would be tasked with evaluating target industry sectors, identifying prospective targets as well as then effectively communicating with them, making first contact and sharing the product value with them.

In this role you will be:
•Supporting the business development and marketing teams, by scheduling follow-up meetings, managing pipeline data and ensuring all prospective clients
•Driving business through phone calls, strategic emails and lead generation after thorough research
•Using the CRM system to record data on prospective companies, people and potential deal opportunities

The Ideal Candidate will have:
•Be a smart, motivated self-starter with the ability to work on their own as well as fitting in as part of a team
•Experience with research tools, along with digital media facilities and other channels to prospect for target firms
•Strong organisational skills, taking the initiative, knowing what, how and when to prioritise tasks and manage time very well
•The ability to develop relationships to source opportunities
•Two years of sales or sales-adjacent experience
•A working understanding of Salesforce
•Previous work experience in software solutions / enterprise software sales / market research and analysis or similar
•Ideally some knowledge or experience of the buy-side industry, asset management / wealth
