Senior Project Manager – Middle Office Solution

 

We are supporting a leading EU Institution in Luxembourg on a Middle Office solution initiative. The project focuses on business analysis, project governance, and coordination with IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

 

Start Date: 18 May 2026

End Date: 31 December 2026

Location: 50% onsite (Luxembourg) / 50% remote

 

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will lead project governance and coordination activities, ensuring structured delivery aligned with internal methodologies. The role involves close collaboration with business, IT, and data governance teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, execution, and governance activities

Prepare and contribute to key project documentation (Business Case, Project Charter, etc.)

Coordinate stakeholders across business and IT teams

Ensure alignment with project management methodology and approval processes

Organise and lead steering committees and project meetings

Oversee the validation and implementation of business requirements

Ensure end-to-end consistency across upstream and downstream systems

Support testing phases (test strategy, validation oversight)

Contribute to communication strategies and stakeholder engagement

 

Mandatory Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science

Alternatively, minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience

 

Mandatory Experience

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Management

Experience delivering at least 3 projects in a PM capacity

 

Preferred Experience

Experience in the banking sector (min. 1 year)

Knowledge of financial products (loans, equity, guarantees)

Familiarity with EU institutional environments is an advantage

English: mandatory

French: advantageous
