Project Manager (SCD Expertise)

Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supporting Consultant / Project Manager to join a high-profile financial services technology programme. This role will work alongside an established PMO team, providing additional project management capacity and serving as an extension of the existing project leadership function.

The successful consultant will combine strong project management capabilities with solid knowledge of SimCorp Dimension (SCD), enabling them to support delivery activities and confidently respond to client and stakeholder queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the existing PMO and Project Management team in delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist with project planning, governance, reporting, and execution.
  • Act as an extension of the current Project Manager, ensuring continuity across project workstreams.
  • Leverage SimCorp Dimension knowledge to provide guidance and answer functional or operational questions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to project documentation, status reporting, and meeting facilitation.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within financial services or investment management environments.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, and PMO best practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SimCorp Dimension (SCD).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with an established project team.
  • Experience supporting complex transformation, implementation, or enhancement programmes.
