Senior Cyber Security Officer
- Luxembourg (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
- 12-Month Contract
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Officer to support and enhance its security posture across a complex, regulated environment.
This role sits at the heart of cyber governance and operations, offering exposure across cloud security, privileged access management, network security, and third-party oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure security compliance across all assets within a Luxembourg-based data centre, aligned with corporate standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee cloud security controls and governance
- Manage and optimise Privileged Access Management (CyberArk)
- Oversee outsourced security services including vulnerability management, penetration testing, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Approve and govern firewall and network security changes
- Conduct security risk assessments for solutions and architectures
- Manage application access provisioning processes
- Support internal and external technology audits
- Contribute to cyber security projects and initiatives
- Produce clear technical documentation and procedures
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Officer within financial services or a regulated environment
- Broad knowledge across multiple cyber security domains (GRC, infrastructure, cloud, operations)
- Strong experience with CyberArk (or equivalent PAM tools)
- Experience overseeing third-party security service providers
- Solid understanding of network security and firewall governance
- Experience conducting security risk assessments
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
Certifications (Desirable)
- CISSP, CISM or equivalent
Languages
- Fluent English (essential)
- French and/or German (advantageous)
