Senior Fund Accountant - NAV Specialist

Skillfinder International is partnering with a globally recognised financial institution to find a Senior Fund Accountant to support a high-performing Fund Accounting team responsible for delivering accurate NAV calculations and financial reporting across a diverse range of investment funds.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you'll play a key role in the production and oversight of daily fund accounting activities while acting as a technical point of reference within the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
• Producing fund accounting deliverables including distributions and financial reporting
• Reviewing accounting entries, securities positions and corporate actions
• Performing cash, custody and broker reconciliations
• Investigating valuation and pricing exceptions
• Supporting client, auditor, trustee and depositary queries
• Acting as the first escalation point for junior team members
• Driving process improvements and supporting operational projects
• Ensuring regulatory, internal control and SLA requirements are consistently met
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in Fund Accounting
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing NAVs
• Solid understanding of investment funds, valuations, corporate actions and reconciliations
• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel skills (GP4 knowledge is advantageous)
• Fluent English (German and/or French would be beneficial)
