Senior SimCorp Front Office Consultant
- Hybrid - Brussels
- Contract - 12 months
- Must be EU citizen / have rights to work in Belgium
Role Type: Contract / Consultancy
We are looking for an experienced SimCorp Consultant to support us with configuration, implementation, and functional support across a range of SimCorp Dimension / SimCorp One modules.
The successful consultant will work closely with business users, technology teams, and project stakeholders to analyse requirements, configure solutions, support testing, and provide subject matter expertise across investment operations, order management, compliance, risk, and portfolio management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support configuration and enhancement of SimCorp Trade Manager.
- Work with Order Manager, including FIX connectivity and related trading workflows.
- Configure and maintain Asset Manager functionality.
- Support implementation and optimisation of Compliance Manager.
- Manage and configure benchmark data within SimCorp.
- Support cash management processes, including Cash Bucket functionality.
- Provide expertise across Collateral & Margin Manager.
- Configure and support the Portfolio Cost module.
- Support risk measurement and calculation, including Value at Risk (VaR).
- Gather and document business requirements from front, middle, and back-office stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into SimCorp configuration and functional specifications.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Work with internal teams to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension / SimCorp One.
- Functional knowledge of investment management processes across trading, portfolio management, compliance, collateral, risk, and performance/cost areas.
- Experience with one or more of the following modules:
- Trade Manager
- Order Manager
- Asset Manager
- Compliance Manager
- Collateral & Margin Manager
- Portfolio Cost
- Risk / VaR
- Understanding of order management workflows and FIX connectivity.
- Good knowledge of financial instruments, portfolio data, benchmark data, cash management, and collateral processes.
- Ability to work directly with business users and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with asset managers, banks, or financial institutions.
- Prior experience supporting SimCorp projects within a regulated environment.
- Experience across both configuration and business analysis activities.
Profile
This role would suit a hands-on SimCorp Consultant who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas and can bridge the gap between business requirements and system configuration. The consultant should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a project or support environment.
