About the Role

Skillfinder International is seeking an experienced Solution Owner to support a leading investment management technology programme. This is a senior consulting position responsible for ensuring end-to-end solution integrity, quality, and strategic alignment throughout the client lifecycle.

The successful candidate will act as the central advisory point for SimCorp solutions and services, guiding clients through platform expansion initiatives, operating model transformations, and complex implementation programmes. The role provides continuity from pre-contract engagement through implementation and into post-go-live advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and govern the overall solution architecture and design across all workstreams.
• Ensure end-to-end solution coherence throughout the client lifecycle.
• Maintain implementation scope integrity from pre-contract discussions through to go-live.
• Lead governance of key solution design decisions and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Act as the primary advisory contact for SimCorp products, capabilities, and services.
• Advise clients on platform expansion opportunities and operating model changes.
• Ensure consistent adoption of standard platforms, components, frameworks, and global delivery artefacts.
• Provide oversight and quality assurance across delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Support post-go-live consulting engagements, including ringfence and optimisation activities.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and operational stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive experience in a senior consulting, solution ownership, or solution architecture role within investment management technology.
• Strong expertise in SimCorp Dimension and the broader SimCorp ecosystem.
• Proven track record of delivering complex end-to-end transformation and implementation programmes.
• Deep understanding of investment management operating models and business processes.
• Experience overseeing solution governance, design authority, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to bridge business and technology teams while maintaining strategic solution alignment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and advisory skills.
• Experience working across the full client lifecycle, from pre-sales through implementation and post-go-live support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience acting as Solution Owner, Lead Solution Architect, or Principal Consultant on SimCorp programmes.
• Strong knowledge of front-, middle-, and back-office investment management processes.
• Experience supporting operating model transformations and platform optimisation initiatives.
• Familiarity with global delivery models and large-scale enterprise implementations.
