C++ Software Developer - Permanent Role - Competitive Salary + Relocation Package + Bonus & Benefits

Your area of work:

You will be working with the settlements department working on real-time banking applications within post-trade. The application landscape consists of several critical C++ applications which are interacting with large databases and several non-Settlement owned applications.

Your responsibilities:

Broad range of development activities including (not limited to):

- Technical Design including security, performance and maintainability aspects
- Implementation of solutions
- Perform application testing (unit, integration, regression)
- Regular reporting to team leader/management
- Supporting all activities related to end to end testing including support for business testers and execution team
- Analysing production system issues and providing support to internal customers
- Achieve compliance with internal and external standards applicable to the design, development and documentation of solutions
- Identify area of improvements and propose enhancements to existing processes

Your profile:

- University degree (master or diploma) in IT
- Prior work experience and very good skills in C++, Oracle SQL, Linux, Git and Perl
- Strong results orientation mindset and willingness to learn new things
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand, structure and explain complex topics
- Team work orientation and strong communication skills
- Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
- Ability to work across several development streams
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, French and/or German are an asset
