About the role

We are currently supporting the search for an experienced Test Manager / Test Lead to join a major player in the Luxembourg life insurance market, based in Luxembourg City and operating within an established international financial environment.

This opportunity is particularly relevant for consultants who are comfortable working in structured, demanding environments and who bring both strong test management capabilities and solid knowledge of Luxembourg life insurance back-office operations.

The assignment is linked to an upcoming testing / UAT phase related to future releases. The client is looking for someone who can step in quickly, bring structure, and help secure delivery during a critical stage of the project lifecycle.

Role overview

The consultant will support business and IT teams during an important release cycle, with a strong focus on testing coordination, quality assurance, and functional validation.

This is not a general insurance project management role. It is a targeted opportunity for a consultant with hands-on experience in test management and a genuine understanding of Luxembourg life insurance policy administration processes.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate testing activities for upcoming releases
• Define, structure or refine the test strategy, test scope and execution plan
• Coordinate testing preparation and execution with business, operations and IT stakeholders
• Support and oversee UAT / functional testing
• Manage defects, issues, risks and dependencies throughout the testing cycle
• Monitor progress and provide clear reporting on status, blockers and readiness
• Contribute to release readiness and go/no-go discussions
• Ensure strong coordination between operational teams and delivery stakeholders

Mandatory requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Proven experience as Test Manager, Test Lead or in a similar testing coordination role
• Strong background in life insurance
• Mandatory knowledge of Luxembourg life insurance back-office processes
• Strong understanding of policy administration / contract administration
• Experience working in testing, UAT, release management or functional validation contexts
• Professional fluency in French

• Test Manager / Test Lead in life insurance
