Luxembourg | 5.5-Month Contract

An established international financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Transaction Processing Partner to join its Fund Administration team in Luxembourg.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment operations or fund administration professional with strong fund accounting knowledge to work within a highly controlled operational environment supporting a diverse range of investment products.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation and oversight of complex financial transactions while supporting operational excellence across multiple asset classes.

The Role

You'll be responsible for processing and overseeing investment transactions across multiple financial instruments while ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely completion of daily controls.

Working closely with Fund Accounting, NAV teams and other operational stakeholders, you'll help maintain the integrity of transaction processing and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and oversee transactions across equities, CFDs, FX, listed derivatives and OTC products
• Monitor automated processing interfaces and resolve trade, pricing and static data exceptions
• Perform manual trade booking and lifecycle event processing where required
• Review broker statements and validate transaction accuracy
• Investigate and resolve cash and position reconciliation breaks
• Monitor significant fund cash movements and operational activity
• Complete daily operational controls, approvals and checklists
• Support NAV and Fund Accounting teams with operational queries
• Assist with audits, fund lifecycle events and management company requests
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and reduce risk

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience within Fund Administration, Investment Operations or Transaction Processing
• Strong understanding of Fund Accounting principles
• Experience processing multiple asset classes
• Excellent reconciliation and investigation skills
• Experience working within highly controlled operational environments
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA beneficial)
• GP4 knowledge advantageous
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English is essential
• German or French would be advantageous

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting (or equivalent secondary education with relevant experience)

Working Arrangement

This role requires full-time onsite attendance for the first three months to support training, knowledge transfer and team integration. Following this period, the working arrangement may be reviewed based on performance and business requirements.
