Senior Manager - Cloud Engineering

Location: London/Manchester/Leeds (predominantly remote but some requirements to go on-site for meetings)
Duration: 6-months
(Inside IR35)

Role:

•Joining the Infrastructure Engineering team – and supporting/overseeing the building and running of multiple infrastructure and software services with 3 public cloud environments (AWS, Azure & GCP)
•Leading and mentoring junior engineers and managerial support to various teams and your own team for the project.
•Stakeholder management and building strong relationships with coverage CTO for your area and ensuring that it is fed into the technology strategy and be a trusted advisor from a Cloud and DevOps perspective.
•Supporting wider infrastructure community and assisting other teams, contributing code to central projects, etc.

Individual:

•Strong and extensive experiences in managing large or multiple teams of engineers and responsible for delivering large and complex projects.
•Deep technical level discussions with engineers and further skills to explain to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
•Operating in a high context switching environment for various clients and different business sectors/technologies.
•Extensive experiences using Linux/Unix/Microsoft configurations
•Hands-on experiences using public cloud providers – AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
•Experiences in software development/scripting languages such as Python /PowerShell/Nodejs/C#/Go, etc
•Strong CI/CD pipelining skills using TeamCity/Octopus/Azure DevOps / Jenkins
