Business Consultant in Performance Analytics & Reporting – Mexico City
Introduction:
My client offers cutting-edge financial software solutions to top-tier financial institutions worldwide. They are expanding their presence to Mexico City and are seeking Business Consultants who will play a vital role in the successful implementation of their software.
Key Responsibilities:
•Engage in all phases of software implementations, encompassing configuration, integration, and testing.
•Thoroughly document client requirements and align them with their functions and processes, while proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
•Design and deliver comprehensive performance solutions to meet client needs. This includes modeling operational workflows around their software, customizing standard configurations, and innovatively developing new solutions:
-Customize standard components to align with client specifications.
-Collaborate with clients to develop an overarching test strategy and test plans, providing dedicated support during test case execution and actively troubleshooting and resolving issues.
•Provide configuration and end-user training, empowering clients to independently manage the software and maximize its utility.
•Continuously expand your knowledge of their software solution and clients' businesses, ensuring the delivery of optimal configurations and workflows.
Required Profile:
•A master’s degree in finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Science, or Engineering.
•A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Financial Industry.
•Proficiency in performance and risk measurement, with expertise in areas such as:
-Time-weighted returns
-Money-weighted returns
-Risk-adjusted returns (e.g., Sharpe ratio)
-Volatility, Alpha, Beta
-Value-At-Risk
-Global Investment Performance Standards
-Factor-based FIPA (Fixed-Income Performance Attribution).
Bonus Skills:
•CFA Level 1-3 or FRM certification.
•Exposure to General Business Analysis and Project Management.
•Proficiency in SQL.
•A high-level understanding of requirements gathering sessions.
•Proficiency in project management and an understanding of project lifecycles when operating as a project member.
•Results-driven, creative, and analytical mindset with a global perspective.
•Self-starter and proactive individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
•Excellent communication skills, particularly in virtual collaboration, and a high level of proficiency in English.
•Proficiency in additional languages such as German or French would be a valuable asset.
