Cyber Security Officer
  • Contract: 11.5 months initially 
  • 5 days a week on site for training / 3 days a week on site thereafter 
  • Day rate contract: negotiable

We are looking for a Cyber Security Officer to work for a prestigious global financial institution with a strong presence in Luxembourg.
 

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cyber-Security officer having previously worked in the financial industry.
The candidate should have a broad knowledge in all domains of Cyber security.
Certifications like CISM, CISSP are highly appreciated.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure security compliance for all assets hosted in our Luxembourg data center with corporate standards, markets best practise and regulatory requirements
  • Oversight of cloud solutions
  • Oversight of Privileged Access management solution (Cyberark)
  • Oversight of Security operations outsourced to a third-party (E.G. Vulnerability management, Penetration tests, IPS/IDS, Firewalls)
  • Oversight of network security incl. approval of Firewall changes
  • Solution/architecture security risk assessments
  • Access provisioning for the applications 
  • Support for technology audits
  • Participation in and execution of cyber-security related projects
  • Writing of technical documentations and procedures in English
  • The candidate will work closely with the local Cyber Security officer, IT Control officer and IT Management 

Skills

  • Experience in all the above responsibilities 

 

  • Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English is a pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of French and/or German is highly appreciated.
  • The ideal candidate shall be able to express complex technical context in a structured way to a non-technical audience.
