FATCA/CRS Tax Analyst



As Senior Analyst, you will be performing first line of defence for AML/KYC due diligence in close collaboration with the Fund promoter.

What will you do?


•Follow-up and manage client communications and meetings with regards to annual FATCA & CRS reporting exercise.
•Participate to regular Tax SME meetings to represent the business activity and collaborate with any process improvement initiatives raised from such.
•Liaise with internal and external tax counterparties in the preparation of annual FATCA & CRS reporting exercise.
•Act as point of reference for complex tax compliance reviews and provide guidance to junior register team members.
•Perform, assess, review and adapt current procedures and the respective alignment with any new regulation.
•Follow-up on tax compliance projects together with other internal teams.
•Perform quality control checks on the shareholder register related with FATCA & CRS related information and follow-up until completeness.
•Provide training to new joiners and work proactively in the knowledge refresh activity.

What do you need to succeed?


•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Tax Compliance & tax reporting knowledge (FATCA, CRS, DAC6)
•Knowledge and experience with regards to the Directive 2011/16/UE, Law 25 March 2020, CSSF circular 17/650 related regulations.
•Previous experience FATCA & CRS reporting exercise to the Luxembourg Tax authorities.
•Knowledge in the AML main regulations and laws.
•Capacity to anticipate and identify any gap or risk that might affect the business activity.
•Capacity of handling tax reporting projects including handling new initiatives and process efficiency.
•Proficient analytical skills, attention to detail, forward thinking, can do attitude and ability to quickly learn new concepts.
•Good judgment, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and partners.
•Knowledge in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
•Audit/Compliance previous experience (2nd/3rd line of defense).
