Your area of work:

We are looking for dedicated functional test engineers that will help us in advancing our global leading derivatives & cash trading system. You will work as functional tester in a highly motivated international team, which is driven to keep up the highest levels of service quality and to constantly allow for integration of functional and technical improvements in a fast-changing environment.. You will acquire insights into financial market products and processes – especially order management and matching as well as trade generation and off-book trading. You will support in the whole software delivery lifecycle from specification, technical design and implementation to going live and maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review of IT specifications
• Functional test data definition based on specifications
• Defining test models / test cases from functional requirements / IT specifications in close collaboration with specifications and build teams as well as with the business side (Product Development and Business Operations)
• Responsibility for test execution, problem analysis and defect verifications
• Update and execution of automated test cases (regression test portfolio)

Your Profile:

• Highly motivated, with willingness to learn functional aspects of trading
• Good communication skills, team-player with willingness to take responsibility and to integrate into the team
• Open-minded with strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of scripting / programming, preferably in Python or Perl
• Knowledge of Linux operating system (user level)
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. MySQL) as well as XML, GitHub, Jira, and continuous integration systems is of advantage
• User experience in GitHub, Jira, and continuous integration systems is of advantage
• Experience with test automation and executing automated functional tests
• Fluent English is a must, German can be beneficial
