Game Designer - Stockholm - Salary Negotiable based on experience

Skillfinder have partnered with a leading mobile AR games studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all — from gamers to non-gamers alike. Pushing the limits when it comes to amazing and unique game experiences - and now they want to enrich their game design team.
This is for a rapidly expanding company who specialise in AR/VR & XR technologies who's game studio has just partnered up with one of the worlds largest digital media franchises to develop a game that incorporates location based gaming and augmented reality.

As a Game Designer you will:

• Be responsible for overall design including game level and retention mechanics

• Work alongside the prototype team to bring the vision from concept to a solid and entertaining end product

• Define the game’s vision and game design documents, create and maintain internal design documentation

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the implementation of systems into actual gameplay

• Analyse user testing and recommend new design solutions

Key experience you'd be expected to have:

• 3+ years of relevant game design experience including at least one shipped F2P mobile title.

• Good knowledge of what makes a lasting gameplay experience that makes the players keep coming back for more

• Staying on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the mobile design field

• Demonstrated proficiency with one or more current 3D game engines

• Strong working knowledge of level design and UI/UX

• Ability to provide constructive and easy-to-understand feedback to any team member

• Passion for games and user-centered design
