Head of Automation Services - Permanent Role - Competitive Salary + Bonuses & Benefits

The Role:

The Automation Services Unit Head roles is responsible for delivery and support of Automation solutions and the development of our in-house built platform Albert. The project and change processes in our company are complex to satisfy extensive regulatory and compliance requirements. We are looking for a self-driven leader with an experience in managing change and development projects in wide variety of governing contexts and implementation project styles.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Provide, facilitate and standardize Automation Platforms across the organization for increased adoption and unlocking business value
- Stakeholder Management of initiatives involving Albert platform roadmap
- Delivery of Automation use cases and platform enhancements inline with both change and operating budgets
- Management of a team of 6 resources plus externals
- Active participation in ongoing evolution of automation development lifecycle processes
- Practicing, coaching and promoting Agile Project Management practices where possible
- Planning backlogs, timelines of deliverables, release management
- Transparency of progress and risks to project stakeholders
- Documentation of processes, plans, project governance documents and progress reports
- Assistance with Project Management of other Low-Code and RPA automation initiatives
- Use both teaching and coaching to keep improving agility as well as maturity of the Agile operation#

Your Profile:

- University degree in Information Technology or comparable professional experience
- Experience with process change management and leading projects in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC
- Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence and GitHub desirable
- Experience working in globally distributed teams
- Experience in project and release management
- Understanding of resource management
- Experience with architectural patterns of microservices and streaming platforms, cloud platforms, and Automation technologies
- Knowledge of the financial industry, e.g. related to business of Deutsche Boerse and Clearstream beneficial
