Java/React Software Developer

Our client, a market leading financial services organisation, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer specialising in Java React to join their cross-functional development team. You’ll play a key role in the ongoing development and enhancement of a greenfield application running on Java Spring.

You’ll work within an agile team using a contemporary tech stack, including Java Spring, Hibernate, MS SQL, and React, supported by modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance both backend and frontend components of a high-availability web application
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to implement new features and improvements
Integrate external data sources via ETL processes and maintain data consistency across the application
Contribute to solution design and participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
Work in an agile environment using tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins for development and delivery

Your Profile

5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-grade Java applications
Strong proficiency in Java Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Security, Data, Integration)
Solid experience with SQL databases and ORM tools such as Hibernate
Hands-on experience with React for frontend development
Familiarity with Java EE technologies such as JPA, JMS, and EJB
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Proficiency in English, including strong written communication
