Junior Oracle APEX Developer / Product Engineer

Zug, Switzerland (1 day onsite, up to 2 when required)

German speaking required

Have you ever wondered how a banking technology product gets built, launched, and rolled out to clients?

A specialist banking technology consultancy is building a new access security product designed to replace the current end-of-life product.

They’re looking for a Junior Oracle APEX Developer who wants more than just coding tickets. You’ll initially focus on the access security product, working alongside a team of 6 experienced consultants. In the next phase, support client implementations as a consultant. In the future, you’ll move on to more product initiatives and consulting.

Why consider this role

  • You’ll join early in the lifecycle of a product entering a strong regulatory market
  • Clients have solid budgets due to compliance-driven demand
  • The consultancy has a proven track record of bringing products to market and an established client base of banks
  • Clear long-term development path: product engineer, product consultant, or hybrid role

What you’ll be doing

  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of Oracle APEX products
  • Supporting client customisations, testing, and go-lives
  • Take on more responsibility across product and project work in line with your skills and preferences

What they’re looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or similar technical training
  • Experience in Oracle APEX
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript) and Oracle databases (SQL and/or PL-SQL)
  • Strong German and English skills

If you’re early in your career and want exposure to both development and real banking product environments — rather than being siloed into one narrow task — this is worth a conversation.
