Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Business Consultant with strong hands-on configuration experience in SimCorp Dimension to support the setup and integration of External Manager data into Trade Manager.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring direct involvement in configuration, data imports, and troubleshooting. The consultant will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, configure, and implement External Manager integrations using CommServer, Trade Manager, and DMS.

Note: This is not a purely advisory or functional role. Candidates must have recent, hands-on configuration experience in SimCorp Dimension.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the configuration of External Manager setups in SimCorp Dimension
Configure and maintain CSV-based data imports for External Managers, including:
- Instrument data
- Weights
- Security IDs
Design and configure CommServer adapters and mappings, converting external CSV files into standard SimCorp formats by instrument type
Configure and support instrument creation and maintenance in Trade Manager
Support instrument creation workflows via Trade Manager and/or DMS requests
Configure imports related to fund certificates, ensuring correct linkage of weights and securities
Manage and configure approximately 26 External Manager files
Troubleshoot and resolve data import, instrument setup, and integration issues
Act as a lead consultant, providing guidance while remaining hands-on throughout delivery

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension configuration
Proven experience configuring External Manager setups
Hands-on configuration of CommServer for CSV-based data imports
Experience mapping and importing data by instrument type
Hands-on experience configuring complex financial instruments in Trade Manager
Experience with DMS for instrument creation requests and workflows
Strong understanding of how instrument setup and imports impact downstream processes
Ability to work independently and lead configuration activities end-to-end

Nice to Have

Experience with fund certificates and portfolio weight imports
Experience in fund-of-funds or externally managed mandates
Experience working on large SimCorp implementation or upgrade programs
Background with SimCorp partners or long-term SimCorp delivery roles

Suitable for experienced SimCorp consultants with a strong configuration background
Advisory-only or reporting-focused profiles are not suitable
