Project Coordinator – Citrix Virtual Desktop Upgrade Project
Location: London (3 days onsite per week)
Contract: 6-month rolling
Client: Leading Global Bank
We’re hiring an experienced Project Coordinator to support a major Citrix Virtual Desktop upgrade at a leading global bank. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, working on critical infrastructure transformation and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the master implementation schedule for user migrations.
- Coordinate with business units and IT ops to schedule cut-over windows.
- Lead daily/weekly readiness calls; track actions, risks, and dependencies across infrastructure, apps, networks, and security.
- Prepare change requests and CAB packs aligned with internal policies and banking regulations.
- Own and maintain run-books and checklists (UAT, smoke tests, rollback).
- Drive pilot and phased rollouts, coordinating with engineers and support teams.
- Update project dashboards and RAID logs; deliver concise status reports.
- Manage live cut-over activities, logging incidents and communicating with stakeholders in real time.
- Support user feedback collection and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide coordination for the related email domain change project.
- Collaborate with global teams to align operating models for infrastructure changes.
- Ensure data accuracy of EMEA-wide staff lists for migration planning.
- Create end-user communications and training materials.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Citrix and Microsoft terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Nice to Have
- PRINCE2 / PMP foundation-level knowledge.
- Prior experience with banking change-governance frameworks.
