React Developer - Banking – Perm role City of London

My client is looking for a React Developer to contribute to the development and growth of their digital platform. Within this role, you will be working on a wide array of products within various areas of focus, from building a new sales platform, the development of a revenue-generating experience to a state-of-the-art Banking as a Service platform. The possibilities are endless.

You will be expected to:

• Work within a product team, collaborating with product owners and designers to build and maintain products for our clients that are user centred
• Write high quality code, assist in code reviews and resolve incidents in support of the live service
• Work closely alongside client facing teams as well as your own, providing expertise and excellence in all aspects of the business
• Adapt to the wealth of new products and services we are constantly bringing in

The perfect candidate will:

• Have strong experience in building Frontend software in React
• Be a software engineer, someone who enjoys writing code to solve problems
• Be curious about new technologies and how the financial industry works
• Be comfortable working in a team that will sometimes have to deal with ambiguity
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, involving different stakeholders and sme’s
• Be familiar with application development within Azure and general backend application knowledge
