Risk Management Analyst 

 

Role Overview

The consultant will support risk management activities within the Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) investment portfolio of a multilateral public institution. The role focuses on financial analysis, risk metrics, data management, reporting automation and valuation-related tasks.


Profile Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
    If no Master’s: minimum 5 years of directly relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (Senior level) in risk management in Private Equity and Venture Capital.
  • Experience in risk management within a multilateral institution investing in PE/VC.
  • Demonstrated background in finance-related projects, including:
    • Risk metrics
    • Equity and valuation analysis
    • Financial analysis in a public institution involved in PE/VC financing
  • Experience in:
    • Financial reporting automation
    • VC/PE-related data management
    • Company valuation based on written proposals

Technical Skills

  • Practical experience in:
    • Data management
    • Reporting risk metrics
    • Coding
  • Proficiency with tools including:
    • Tableau
    • Alteryx
    • SAP Business Objects
    • Excel VBA
    • Python
    • eFront is considered an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform risk analysis across PE/VC portfolios.
  • Produce and automate risk metrics and reporting.
  • Conduct financial analysis and valuation assessments.
  • Manage PE/VC data and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Support automation initiatives and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams within the public/multilateral institution.
