Overview

Seeking a Senior AI Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent, scalable AI applications. The role requires deep expertise in LLMs, advanced RAG architectures, agentic AI frameworks, cloud-native engineering, and end-to-end solution design across Azure and/or GCP.

This position suits someone highly technical, hands-on, and experienced in driving AI product delivery while guiding engineering teams and influencing architectural direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AI solutions using state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI, Mistral) for summarisation, generation, Q&A, and reasoning.
• Lead integration of agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AI Foundry) to enable autonomous/semi-autonomous workflows.
• Establish scalable standards and patterns for AI/ML service deployment, prompt engineering, model orchestration, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Design end-to-end cloud-native solutions across Azure and GCP (backend, frontend, data, identity, security).
• Mentor engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, and best-practice enforcement.
• Integrate third-party platforms and tooling (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Quantexa) into AI pipelines.
• Deliver rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate emerging technologies.
• Work closely with DevOps/MLOps teams to build and refine CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in software architecture or enterprise-level solution design.
• 1+ years hands-on experience developing AI/ML systems, including LLMs, RAG, and agent-based systems.
• Strong background designing microservice and monolithic architectures.
• Experience implementing AIOps frameworks on Azure and/or GCP.
• 3+ years deep cloud-native experience on Azure and/or GCP.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue; strong integration with backend AI APIs.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles: testing, security, optimisation, performance.
• Able to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
