Senior AML/KYC Analyst (Mainstream Funds)



The opportunity is for a Senior Analyst position focused on AML/KYC due diligence within mainstream funds. Here's a detailed breakdown of the responsibilities and qualifications required for this role:
Opportunity: As a Senior Analyst, you will be the initial line of defence for AML/KYC due diligence, collaborating closely with the Fund promoter.

Responsibilities:


1. Customer On-boarding and Ongoing Due Diligence: Execute onboarding processes and continuous due diligence in accordance with client procedures, TA AML/KYC guidelines, or specific KYC policies. This includes gathering and categorizing information aligning with various regulatory frameworks such as FATCA, CRS, RDR, AIFMD.
2. Clarification and Support: Provide clear responses to inquiries from investors, distributors, or clients. Handle queries and participate in conference calls involving multiple stakeholders.
3. Documentation Management: Ensure proper filing of electronic documentation and manage data processing in the SHS system.
4. Quality Assurance: Regularly review and validate AML/KYC and tax data, including Risk Rating reports, FATCA, CRS, and KPI monitoring.
5. Resolution of Account Blocks: Ensure timely release of pending cash items due to blocked accounts for KYC compliance purposes.
6. Alert Management: Handle alerts arising from name screening or discrepancies in incoming cash flows.
7. Training and Coaching: Provide guidance and training to Analysts to enhance their proficiency in IT systems knowledge (BP module/Sara) and improve their KYC analytical skills.

Must-have:


1. AML/KYC Experience: 3-4 years of experience in AML/KYC processes.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
3. Analytical Skills: Proficient analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, and a quick learning curve for new concepts.
4. Judgment and Confidentiality: Good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion in communicating with colleagues and partners.
5. Time Management: Ability to deliver quality work within short timeframes.

Nice-to-have:


1. Language Skills: Fluency in additional languages (French, German, Spanish) is considered a strong asset.
2. MS Office Proficiency: Knowledge in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
3. Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with systems like SARA and the BP module is advantageous.
