Senior Analyst, Trustee & Depositary Services



Job Description:


As a Senior Analyst in Trustee & Depositary Services, your primary responsibility is to ensure full compliance with regulatory depositary requirements pertaining to cash flow monitoring, oversight duties, and safekeeping and recordkeeping of assets. This role is critical in safeguarding investors' interests and protecting against potential financial loss or reputational damage due to non-compliance or negligent performance.

Key Responsibilities:


Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor cash flows associated with funds under depositary responsibility, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Oversight Duties:


• Monitor Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee subscriptions and redemptions to verify adherence to fund policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct regular checks on investment compliance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor income distribution processes to ensure timely and accurate distribution to investors.
• Ensure timely settlement of transactions to prevent delays and associated risks.

Safekeeping and Recordkeeping of Assets:


• Maintain robust systems and procedures for safekeeping and recordkeeping of fund assets.
• Implement measures to safeguard assets against loss, theft, or misappropriation.
• Maintain accurate records of asset holdings and transactions for transparency and audit purposes.

Compliance and Reporting:


• Perform continuous sample oversight checks on fund activities to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
• Conduct due diligence on Management Companies and delegates to ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Document control results and share them with relevant stakeholders, including Management Companies, AIFMs, Board of Directors, auditors, and regulators.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on depositary activities as required by regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Skills:


Essential:


• High-level knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as UCITS V and AIFMD pertaining to depositary functions.
• Proficiency in English language, both written and oral.
• Educational background in Fund Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Desirable:


• Proficiency in German language.
• Good knowledge of Access database software.
