SimCorp Dimension Developer



Summary


SimCorp Dimension is the centre of my client's back-office processing platform. The system is fundamental to their day to day business operations for a number of key departments including finance and operations.

Main duties and responsibilities


As an integral member of the team, the role involves but is not limited to:
• Working directly with business users to develop solutions within and around the SimCorp product, facilitating a large volume of change supporting the continually changing and complex needs of the business.
• Providing 3rd Line support to front line support colleagues and business users alike.
• Collaborating with other IT Development colleagues to provide input to other solutions requiring SimCorp product knowledge or change input.
• Acts with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in carrying out their role

Experience and attributes
• Good knowledge of SimCorp Dimension gained working in a development or support capacity
• Experience of SimCorp transactional workflows.
• Experience of designing and building solutions within the Dimension product.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Aptitude for problem solving
• Ability to build good business relationships at all levels
• Ability to work both collaboratively and by yourself on assigned tasks
• Beneficial, but not essential:
• Asset management business knowledge, in particular Fixed Income, FX and Derivative products
• Communication server experience
• Database interrogation skills i.e. Oracle SQL
• Project delivery experience
• Change and Configuration management experience
• Software testing experience
