Software Integration Consultant – Mexico City

•Location – Mexico City
•Employment Type – Permanent (Full-Time)
•Working Conditions – Hybrid (2 days on site minimum)

Introduction

For a global software company, we are seeking talented individuals who have experience in financial IT systems and have a willingness to grow with a company and keep up with current trends.

Responsibilities

•Contribute to the design, build & delivery of integration solutions for my client’s system.
•You will be involved in implementation projects on a global scale.
•Understand, gather, and document technical requirements.
•Work collaboratively with colleagues from around the world.
•Knowledge sharing across the team and wider company.
•Prepare test cases, support system integration tests and user acceptance tests.
•Unit test, document and demon solutions built.

Skills to have

•System integration experience – implementation projects.
•Knowledge of the software implementation full life cycle.
•Ability to analyse a client’s requirements to then create a technical solution.
•Experience with configuration, system testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
•Experience with data imports, data transformations and data exports.
•Practical knowledge of XML/XSLT and other data transformation standards.
•Experience in working with SQL and relational databases.
•Knowledge of IBM WebSphere and MQ Series / other integration technologies.
•Ability to analyse complex data and information.
•Ability to analyse complex data and information.
•Ability to work under own initiative.
•Good communication skills (written and verbal).
•Experience with working in an international environment with daily use of English.
•Degree in studies related to Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance/

Nice to have skills

•Experience with integrating financial IT systems, backed up by knowledge of financial industry standards (SWIFT, Bloomberg)
•Knowledge or interest in investment finance (e.g., financial instruments, capital markets)
