Software QA Engineer

Software QA Engineer / Location: Malmö, Sweden / Salary: Up to 500 000 SEK

PERMANENT WORK PERMIT mandatory

With a worldwide presence, this leading provider of technology-driven and communication services developing innovative cloud-based technology is hiring a Software QA Engineer to join its IT department. You will work within a team of Specialists and report directly to the Head of IT.

Software QA Engineer – Main Tasks:

Within an agile development environment (Scrum), you will:
Perform and document test activities and report technical issues to development teams
Perform user story validation, both manually and through automation (TDD/BDD)
Collaborate in planning the testing process including acceptance criteria setup, test strategy and test environment setup
Ensure test automation follows a consistent, maintainable and extendable architecture and maintain test automation suites (UI and API)
Work with cross-functional teams to develop RESTful service validation scripts

Software QA Engineer - Profile:

You have a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
You have at least 5 years of software testing experience for SaaS-products
You have strong knowledge of automated UI testing tools (especially Selenium) as well as APIs
You have a previous experience using standard coding language as JAVA
You are familiar with test integration in CI/CD
You are fluent in Swedish and English
You are a good team player and problem solver able to think outside of the box
