Systems Design Engineer
Our client, a well known company involved in a range of various financial activities, is currently looking for a System Engineer to join their Data management Team.
Data Management has become one of most exciting domains in the financial industry, whose aim is to provide the best possible service and product offer in the digital era. This domain is undergoing a significant make-over, leading to a transformation in the way our client handles and uses data.
The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.
Responsibilities
hands-on knowledge and problem solving capabilities to ensure that the environments/tools that are set up from an infrastructure point of view can effectively be used by developers.
Give Informatic guidance from an IT development perspective to different Rainbow development & data integration teams.
broad experience with ETL tooling of 'Informatic' from an infrastructure perspective.
develop vision, strategy, planning for the Rainbow platform and take care of the follow-up of the implementation of this roadmap.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting systems
Strong scripting and technical skills
ETL : Informatic BDM, MDM, EDC SQL (depending on technology of source system – Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL)
