Your environment



The Transversal Capabilities team is responsible, amongst others, for the design and implementation of the transversal building blocks, frameworks and application integration of information system architecture. Furthermore, the team is in charge of defining and POC technical architectures and technologies meeting the specifications and expectations of Enterprise Architects and providing daily support to developers to help them reach their objectives.
As a team member, the candidate will contribute to the elaboration and evolution of the T24 part of the solutions, design and test the new or existing building blocks and participate in the definitions of the overall technical architecture. As an expert, he will provide a third line production support for T24.

Your Activities



• Craft the evolution of T24 and associated tools (e.g. IBM WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM Integration BUS, IBM Event BUS, Microservices, Kafka, Redis nosql database, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, SonarQube, IDE Eclipse, …);
• Technical Design of T24 and the transversal middleware components of the client's Information System Architecture and Development Architecture;
• Participate in the definition of the technical architecture in the bank’s projects;
• Provide technical support and expertise on T24 on qualified tools to the client's development teams and communicate on their usage (documentation, exhibitions, training);
• Validate and critically assess solutions provided by external partners;
• Address security issues and concerns;
• Consider performance aspects during design and implement an organised performance testing strategy;
• Technology watch and scanning.
All this in the context of a profound change of the client's Information system. This change will lead us to a DevOps approach and will need to review some components of the IT landscape.

Qualifications



• Master degree in computer science. A bachelor degree with corresponding experience is also accepted;
• You have a 8+ years of ‘technology’ and T24 background. An experience in a similar professional domain is considered as a strong added value;
• You demonstrate creativity and initiative while respecting teamwork and common objectives;
• You are expected to promptly address urgent requests and you are effective in delivering within the agreed deadlines;
• You are fluent in written and spoken English (and French). You are able to actively participate in English (and French) meetings.
IT skills
• Expertise in designing transversal components, technical and T24 architectures;
• Expertise in T24 and excellent general knowledge of linked technologies;
• Knowledge of Middleware products: IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM Integration BUS, JBoss, Kafka, nosql databases (Redis), Elastic Search (ELK), …
• Libraries, Frameworks & Standards: JEE, JMS, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring …, SOAP, REST, HTML/JavaScript, JUnit, …
• Tools : Eclipse, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Ansible, XL Release, XL Deploy …
• Databases : Oracle, Postgres and other databases …
• Some experience in DevOps approach and tools as well as cloud technologies is considered as an asset :
o OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker,
o Ansible,
o Cloud Experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, …).
