VP - Lead CIAM Engineer

Are you ready to take the lead in transforming identity and access management within a global financial services environment?

We're looking for a Lead CIAM Engineer to join an exciting digital transformation journey, modernising a large-scale digital estate with customer experience at the core.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading CIAM engineering initiatives to build seamless and secure digital access for millions of users
• Designing and delivering high-performance IAM APIs and integration layers
• Collaborating across engineering, security, product and compliance teams to embed identity-first principles in a modern DevSecOps culture
• Using your expertise in OAuth2, OIDC, PKI and secure possession-based authentication
• Working with technologies like PingAM, PingGateway, and PingIDM to enhance authentication workflows

What we’re looking for:

• Deep hands-on experience in IAM engineering, particularly with CIAM
• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript, with a focus on API development
• Strong understanding of secure coding, risk, and controls within a regulated environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in adaptive and step-up authentication models
• Familiarity with PSD2 SCA standards
• Exposure to modern cloud-native and DevOps tools
