We're supporting a major government-sector programme and are looking for an accomplished Security Architect to join a high-performing security team working on a large-scale, high-impact digital transformation initiative.

This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud security strategy across a complex environment, influence architectural decisions, and design solutions that will be used organisation-wide.

The Role

As a Security Architect, you will take ownership of defining and strengthening the cloud security framework and architecture. You'll translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions and ensure the effective transition into managed operations.

You will act as a senior subject matter expert within the programme, providing leadership, expertise and clarity across multiple teams. Your recommendations will directly influence strategic decisions, and you'll regularly collaborate with technical, delivery and operational groups.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, setting direction, and driving high security standards across large environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the cloud security architecture and framework.
• Document cloud security controls, implementations and operational transition plans.
• Recommend and develop innovative security solutions that align with organisational strategy.
• Lead cross-team collaboration to ensure best-in-class cloud security practices.
• Conduct cloud security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide guidance on Cloud Security Architecture, Planning and Managed Cloud Security Services.
• Promote security awareness through training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Continuously assess emerging threats and evolve the cloud security posture accordingly.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with:

• Advanced proficiency in Cloud Security Architecture (essential).
• Strong experience in Cloud Security Planning (recommended).
• Expertise across Managed Cloud Security Services, Cloud Security Assessment, Cloud Infrastructure Security, and Security QA.
• A strong track record of influencing architectural decisions within multi-team environments.
• Experience delivering security in large or complex organisations.

Knowledge of SAP Environment Health & Safety Management is beneficial.
