Mobile Application Developer (Android)



Location: Prague, Czech Republic

We are working with a dynamic and innovative IT consultancy firm based in Prague, specializing in cutting-edge solutions for electronic banking. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Application Developer with expertise in Android platform.

Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Implement and maintain features related to electronic banking, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
• Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Utilize MVVM architecture, Kotlin/Java, Android Studio, Data Binding, RxJava, Epoxy, and Firebase to create robust and efficient code.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices in mobile development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, collaborating with the QA team to ensure the reliability of the applications.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile application development for the Android platform.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM architecture and proficiency in Kotlin/Java.
• Expertise in using Android Studio, Data Binding, RxJava, Epoxy, and Firebase.
• Experience in electronic banking and financial technology is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hybrid Collaboration Model:


This role offers a hybrid form of collaboration, allowing flexibility between office and home work. The team operates with three days in the office and two days working from home, promoting a balanced and efficient work environment.
