Business Analyst - Payments


Major global payments fintech experiencing significant growth based in central London (hybrid) require an experienced Business Analyst that comes from a strong background in fintech or financial services.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history in Agile delivery projects and will be working on payment platform modernisation and drives to build future-proof architectural foundations that are scalable, automated, and modular.

The Business Analyst will be part of a team aligned with finance and technology and will be responsible for business analysis activities to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work with all business units, analysing and defining business requirements for processes, technology, and business change.

Your role


•Working with stakeholders across the business to gather and document business requirements.
•Conduct requirements gathering through workshops, users and business and technology stakeholders.
•Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
•Develop business cases and project plans that outline project scope, objectives, and timelines.
•Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
•Produce project ‘bits’, including business requirements documents, solution design documents, technical specifications, project, & implementation plans.

Must Have:


•Strong Business Analysis skills minimum 4-5 years + with a competence in using business analysis tools elicit, document, and manage requirements effectively
•Previous experience working within financial services or a fintech
•Commercial experience in payment systems including Swift, Sepa, Cross border payments, virtual Ibans
•Strong determination to drive process improvement and best practice
•Strong communication and particularly documentation skills and able to deal with senior internal and external stakeholders.
