My client, an Award-Winning HR Technology and Services Company, is looking for a
Lead Data Engineer to join their innovative product team. In this role you will be

In this role, you will be:
• Participate in the design reviews and build data analytics and reporting
platform in the cloud
• Implement batch & near real-time analytical solutions, scalable data
pipelines, prototypes, and proofs of concepts
• Implement tools to empower data scientists and analysts
• Develop solutions to maintain data quality
• Mentor junior and medior members of team to follow best practices
• Conduct code reviews
• Work together with data scientists/analysts to build state-of-the-art analytical
• Drive low-level design efforts

The ideal candidate will have:
• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Agile experience and an understanding of CI/CD best practices
• Development experience in Spark (Python, Scala or Java)
• Experience in End-to-end, near real-time ETL/ingestion pipelines, streams
• A working understanding of distributed systems/computing
• Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, as well as SQL and NoSQL
• Confidence with Microsoft Azure and Power BI
• Experience with mentoring Junior Engineers
