Data Management – Manager
Location: UK – Nationwide
Duration: 15 months
Rate: TBC
Our client is seeking professionals within Data Management, within various sectors e.g., Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth and Asset Management), with experiences in data governance and data management projects.
Responsibilities/Individual
• Delivering data governance and data management programmes for clients, and supporting multi-workstream client engagements throughout their lifecycle, and identifications of an opportunity in delivering and closure.
• Responding to RFPs and bids for clients’ projects, and bid manage responses to client RFPs.
• Acting as a data management and governance SME on a large data and technology transformation projects
• Leading large projects of 8+ people, managing delivery, resources, budgets and risk and issues
• Working in either Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance with strong knowledge of key business drivers and regulations within the industry – e.g., GDPR, MiFID 2, MiFIR, Brexit, LIBOR, operation resilience, FinTech, and digital ledger technology.
• Stakeholder management, and business development
• Capturing data requirements for large scale transformation projects, working with broad range of stakeholders
• Experiences of data lineage, taxonomies, catalogue, and metadata management
• Extensive experiences in defining, designing, and implementing policies, standards, guidelines, tools, metrics, and standards for data management and governance framework.
• Experiences with data management/governance technologies, e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama etc.
• Experience in defining and implementing data strategy.
