Functional Tester - Settlements

​Contract Business Analyst role focused on securities settlement systems, working on critical post-trade platforms within a leading financial markets environment.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong functional testing experience to support the delivery of complex settlement system changes. You’ll work closely with IT, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure new functionality is delivered to the highest quality standards.

This is a contract role until the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension, offering a competitive daily rate in EUR and a hybrid setup with 2–3 days onsite in Prague.

What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing functional and system requirements for settlement-related changes

• Defining functional acceptance criteria and test approaches

• Executing system, UAT and business acceptance testing (BAT)

• Reporting test progress and documenting defects clearly

• Supporting issue resolution across IT and business teams

• Assisting with customer testing activities and internal user training

• Contributing across the full project lifecycle using structured methodologies

Essential skills & experience

• Business Analyst or Functional Analyst experience within securities settlement or post-trade

• 2–3+ years in a financial institution or securities-focused IT environment

• Strong functional testing / UAT experience

• Solid SQL and database knowledge

• Experience with tools such as Jira and collaboration platforms

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• SWIFT messaging knowledge

• Exposure to use case modelling

• Experience supporting customer testing

Location: Prague — 2–3 days onsite per week
